Events at the Charles M. Schulz Museum give our visitors opportunities to meet professional cartoonists, view some of Schulz's favorite movies, create hands-on crafts, learn about different cartooning techniques, and attend Members-Only parties. Celebrate giving thanks, friendships, and family—Peanuts style! Join Snoopy for photos, hands-on activities, and fun with popcorn and jellybeans! Also, watchA Charlie Brown Thanksgiving on the big screen. Bring two food items to donate to the Redwood Empire Food Bank and receive one free child's admission.

Stories, movement games, crafts, and other fun activities designed for children ages 1–5 and their caregivers. Museum Mondays will be held every Monday through February 2022. Registration required. Register online or at the front desk on the day of the event.

Watch the feature-lengthPeanuts film,Snoopy Come Home (1972) on the Museum's big screen. When Snoopy receives a letter from his former owner Lila, who's in a hospital, he goes on a journey with Woodstock to see her.

Join cartoonist and storyteller Joe Wos  for live performances and cartoon workshops throughout the day on the Friday and Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend. A master maze-maker and cartoonist, Joe Wos is the artist behind the internationally syndicated feature MazeToons  and the best-selling MazeToons  book series. Wos has been performing his live illustrated storytelling nationwide for over 25 years.

Assemble and decorate Snoopy's doghouse out of gingerbread, complete with a marshmallow Snoopy on top! Registration required.

Sign your little elves up to make a variety of fun and creative gifts to give for the holidays. Registration required.

Get your holiday shopping done while the kids enjoy after-hours fun at the Schulz Museum.  Kids will have the Museum to themselves for pizza dinner, games, cartooning, and holiday crafts! Recommended for ages 5­–10.Registration required.

Celebrate the New Year with thePeanuts Gang! Enjoy fun crafts for kids, make a balloon Snoopy, and watchHappy New Year, Charlie Brown! on the big screen. Plus, do your best Snoopy dance and ring in 2022 with an Up Down Balloon Drop and Baby Balloon Drop (for children 4 and under and their families) atNoon, and a second Balloon Drop at3:00 pm—including appearances by Snoopy himself!Doors open at 10:00 am and capacity will be monitored; admission will be on a first come, first served basis.

Girl Scout Cadettes will earn and receive their Comic Artist badge in this special hands-on workshop in-person at the Schulz Museum. Museum staff will teach you how to develop stories and characters and create your own four-panel comic strip from beginning to end, while completing all five steps of the Comic Artist badge. Girl Scout Juniors will complete all 5 steps and earn their Entertainment Technology badge in-person at the Schulz Museum. Scouts will have fun creating short movies using green screen and sound effects while also completing other hands-on technology challenges. Registration required.

Snoopy has ventured into space in the Peanuts comic strip and as an official NASA mascot. Learn about the phases of the moon, stars and nebulae, and space exploration all through hands-on activities at the Museum. Design a space lander, make light-up constellations, launch bottle rockets, and more. Ice skating at Snoopy's Home Ice also available from 12:30 pm–2:00 pm. Registration required.

Brownies will have hands-on overnight fun with a virtual sleepover! Experience art, cartooning, and earn your Letterboxer badge. Design your own stamp and letterbox, make and solve puzzles, learn to draw Snoopy, and end the evening by joining in an online sing-along. Come back the next morning for live storytelling and cartooning and to complete your badge requirement. Badge will be supplied after the event. Registration required.
